PLANNED POWER OUTAGE TO OCCUR IN NORTHERN JOPLIN, MISSOURI NEAR DOWNTOWN OVERNIGHT MONDAY, OCTOBER 25

Joplin, Missouri – October 21, 2021 – In order to make a necessary equipment repair safely and to maintain continued service reliability, Liberty crews will perform a scheduled power outage in Joplin, Missouri on Monday, October 25, beginning at 1 a.m. and lasting approximately four hours. Please note, these times are approximate and could change based on weather and other factors.

Please note: This repair and planned outage was originally scheduled to occur on October 11 but was rescheduled due to severe weather.

This scheduled outage is the result of a necessary equipment repair and is needed to ensure the safety of crews and to prevent any potential larger and longer unplanned outages.
