Participation in Liberty’s energy efficiency program has earned the Willard Public Schools $38,578 in incentives.

By replacing aging, inefficient equipment with energy-efficient technology, commercial and industrial customers can reduce energy use, minimize costs, and see a fast return on their investment. The Willard school district partnered with Liberty to retrofit lighting and HVAC equipment in district buildings.

In addition to the monetary rebates, it is estimated the district will have an annual energy savings of 225,000 kWh.

“Liberty is proud to partner with our schools on energy efficiency projects and help them save money while being environmentally responsible,” said Jackie Greife, Liberty’s Key Account Manager. “A big ‘thank you’ goes out to the team at Willard Public Schools.”

Cathy Shoup, Assistant Superintendent of Operations for Willard Public Schools, said the district is grateful for the significant costs savings and energy reductions that came with their participation in the Energy Efficiency Program.

“At Willard Public Schools, we believe in creating a sustainable environment for our students and staff, and the Liberty Energy Efficiency Program has been a fantastic partner in helping us achieve that goal,” said Shoup, “We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Liberty and furthering our commitment to energy efficiency in the coming years.”
