Flushing helps Liberty maintain the quality and reliability of the water system
PINE BLUFF, ARKANSAS - Liberty’s annual Arkansas water system flushing is scheduled to start Monday, May 13 throughout the Pine Bluff community, weather permitting. Once the flushing begins, Liberty crews will work around the clock until the flushing is completed.
Annual flushing is required by the Arkansas Department of Health to ensure fire hydrants are working properly. In addition to ensuring system reliability, flushing also improves water quality. Customers who may experience any water pressure or quality issues during the scheduled flushing times are asked to run cold water from their faucet for 10 minutes.
