Liberty’s second annual fishing derby reels in a variety of family activities

PINE BLUFF, ARKANSAS – Liberty has teamed with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) to present the second annual Liberty Fishing Derby from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at Martin Luther King Park, 629 Jaycee Drive. 

The new partnership has resulted in an even bigger event, with a variety of fun family activities planned.

In addition to the fishing derby, there will be archery, canoeing, a BB gun range, music, prizes, and fish-cleaning and cooking demonstrations. Free health and wellness screenings will be offered by Jefferson Regional Medical Center. 

Participants should bring lawn chairs and fishing gear. Those ages 16 and older will need a valid AGFC fishing license. For more information and to register for the event, visit www.libertyenergyandwater.com.
