Ribbon-cutting planned for new EV charging stations in Branson

BRANSON, MISSOURI – Representatives from Liberty will be joined by Legends in Concert® representatives for a ribbon-cutting ceremony for new EV charging stations at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 13, in the parking lot of Legends in Concert’s theater, 1600 W. 76 Country Blvd. in Branson.

The three Dual Port ChargePoint stations can accommodate up to six vehicles. It is only the third installation in Liberty’s national Ready Charge program, which was launched in October 2022 to support the deployment of smart Level-2 and direct-current fast charging infrastructure at publicly accessible sites.

Installing chargers at Legends’ Branson theater allows for easy access to and from Highway 65 and is in the heart of the city’s entertainment district. The charging stations support any plug-in electric vehicle and, as part of the largest national network of charging stations, include 24/7 driver support and monitoring to ensure they are operational whenever drivers need it.

“We are extremely excited to offer our theater guests the opportunity to park and charge their cars while attending one of our world-famous Legends in Concert performances,” said Jeannie Horton, General Manager of Legends in Concert, “It has been a pleasure to partner with Liberty on this project and we are honored to be the first theater in Branson to offer this great service.”

The ribbon-cutting will include remarks from Tim Wilson, Liberty President-Electric; Robin McAlester, Liberty Senior Manager of Transportation Electrification; and special guests from Legends in Concert.
