The New My Account Experience Has Launched!


Liberty has launched its new My Account web and mobile customer account portal to improve and simplify your service. This includes a new Liberty My Account mobile app now available for download in your mobile device’s app store.

The majority of our My Account users were automatically transferred to the new platform and will need to update their password upon first sign-in to the new system. See the instructions on this page.

PLEASE NOTE: The new My Account web portal is not supported by Internet Explorer – please use another browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari to register/access your account.


  • Please follow these instructions to register for Liberty My Account:

    1. The new My Account will be accessed from the main Liberty community homepage, just as it is today. Click the "Register" link under the My Account tab. 
    2. Click the purple “Register” button at the bottom of the login box.
    3. You will be prompted to enter your 9-digit account number and 5-digit service address zip code – this will allow the system to verify your identity and pull up your account. Your 9-digit account number can be found at the top of your bill. Please reference the image below to locate this information.
    4. Complete the next stage of the account set-up process:
      • Input your contact information – phone number and email address
      • Choose your password – please follow password specifications outlined
      • Please agree to the Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the page 
    5. Once you hit “Register”, you will receive an email to the address you provided – please click the link in that email to activate your account. 
    6. Enjoy! You are now ready to take advantage of the exciting features the new My Account experience brings, including:
      • Viewing and paying your bill
      • Choosing your account notifications – email or text message – and when you want to receive them
      • Viewing your usage with easy-to-read graphs, helping you better control your usage and save on your next bill

  • Here’s how to log in to the all-new My Account portal as an existing My Account user:

    1. Upon launch, the new My Account will be accessed from the main Liberty website community homepage, just as it is today. Click “Log In” under the My Account tab.
    2. In the username field, please enter the email address associated with your Liberty account.
    3. In the password field, enter anything you’d like and hit “sign in” – you will be prompted to validate your account and set a new password in the next step.
    4. If you are not sure which email address you used for your existing account, click on “forgot your username” then fill in your 9-digit account number (found at the top of your bill, please reference the image below to locate this information) and 5-digit service address zip code, and the username will be sent to the email address on file.
    5. You will be asked to reset your password – this is normal! We want to ensure your new account is secure and up to date.
      • You will receive an email with a link to reset your password – this link expires in 2 days, so please act on it as soon as possible.
      • After resetting your password, you’ll be redirected back to the My Account login page where you can now log in with your email address and new password.
    6. Enjoy! You are now ready to take advantage of the exciting features the new My Account experience brings, including:
      • Viewing and paying your bill
      • Choosing your account notifications – email or text message – and when you want to receive them
      • Viewing your usage with easy-to-read graphs, helping you better control your usage and save on your next bill

  • View and pay your bill from the device of your choice, including your mobile phone through a new Liberty My Account mobile app.

Search for the new Liberty My Account mobile app by title in your device’s app store – the icon will look like this:

Please note: If you access the existing My Account through the Empire District mobile app (iPhone or Android), you will need to delete this and download the all-new “Liberty My Account” app.
