Arkansas Electric Commercial Industrial Program
Arkansas Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency Rebate Program
Liberty offers energy efficiency programs to meet the needs of our business customers. These programs provide a means to reduce operating costs and increase efficiency concepts that are key components to operating successful businesses.
Through these programs, Liberty offers incentives to help lower the cost of identifying and purchasing energy-efficient equipment for use in your facilities. Examples of equipment that might be rebated include high-efficiency lighting, air conditioning, heating systems, motors, refrigeration, energy managements systems, and just about anything else that uses electricity. Customers may receive up to a total incentive of $20,000 per facility per program year.

Energy audits provide customers with a comprehensive analysis of their building energy use and recommendations on ways to reduce energy costs and improve energy efficiency. Audits usually consider all major end-uses including lighting, motors, HVAC, refrigeration and water heating.
Liberty offers rebates to customers 100% of the cost of an energy audit up to $500. To receive the rebate, customers must implement at least one of the audit recommendations that qualifies for a Liberty equipment rebate. Customers with multiple buildings will be eligible for multiple audit rebates.
A copy of the audit report must be submitted with the rebate application to qualify for the audit rebate.
To apply for the Energy Audit rebate, complete and submit either the prescriptive or custom application.
The Custom Rebate Retrofit Program provides customers in existing facilities with financial incentives for installing qualifying electric savings measures that are not covered under the Prescriptive rebate program. Examples of Custom projects may include lighting, pumps or building controls upgrades. Customers may apply for individual or multiple efficiency measures within the same facility. Pre-approval is required before equipment is purchased and installed for custom rebate applications.
Applications will first be evaluated to determine eligibility for the Prescriptive Rebate Program. If eligible, prescriptive rebates will apply.
All custom rebate applications are individually analyzed to ensure that they pass the Total Resource Cost Test. Any measure that is pre-approved (evaluated prior to being installed) must produce a Total Resource Test result of 1.0 or higher. In addition, the project's incremental payback must be greater than two years.
Customers, are limited to a total incentive of $20,000 per facility per program year.
