What is the Critical Medical Needs Program?
In partnership with the United Way of Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas, Liberty is pleased to offer qualified Missouri electric customers an opportunity to participate in the Critical Medical Needs Program (CMNP).
CMNP participants must qualify by:
- Registering with a local Community Action Agency
- Receiving LIHEAP or ECIP benefits within the last 12 months
- Being referred from the United Way
- Having a qualifying critical medical need for electric service, as attested by a qualified medical professional
Qualifying customers will receive a 30-day delay on a pending disconnect, or have service reconnected for 30 days. This time allows the customer to seek financial aid from a variety or sources, or explore enrollment in other Liberty programs.
To apply or for more information, contact the United Way at 417-624-0153.
